Our Classes
HeartYoga classes will challenge you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Over decades of teaching we have found that without this edge there is no real growth and change. That being said, the edge is different for every student. If it is ever too much for you, you can always modify and come back to your breath. It’s the balance of challenge, support, and a nonjudgmental environment that creates the most fertile ground for positive transformation.
The main class format you’ll see on our schedule is Vinyasa. The simplest definition of vinyasa is flow. Our vinyasa classes consist of you learning to “flow” through a series of breath coordinated movements. Although it takes a little effort to learn these flows, eventually they carry you out of the world of thinking, and into the healing rhythm of feeling and breathing. Each time you find this flow in your practice you’ll leave feeling lighter, healthier and happier.
Our Classes
HOT Vinyasa
In hot vinyasa we use music, dynamic sequences and flow to get you out of your head and into the creative rhythm of breath and movement. This unlocks your energetic potential so you can feel more powerful, peaceful and free. Class is heated (85-90) and you’ll leave both sweating and smiling.
Private Lessons
Take your yoga to another level! A private session with one of our teachers will increase your understanding, awareness, and capacity. We recommend one every 3 to 6 months to keep your practice fresh and engaging. Privates are available for both individuals and groups. Reach out for pricing.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Short-Form
Short-Form is an adaptation of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in a warm room. In this class you have time to breath into and really feel each posture. This develops an intuitive understanding of how your body can embrace these ancient shapes. It’s a great class for first-time yoga students.

ZOOM & ON DEMAND
Deep Vinyasa
Deep Vinyasa uses calming vigorous sequences that encourage students to take their attention inward. It’s a moving meditation where you have the opportunity to tune out the world around you and practice with the eyes closed. This creates a profound connection of mind and body and leaves you feeling more vibrant, whole and peaceful. Class is done is a warm room.
Meditation period
Learn to meditate or deepen your current practice! The teacher begins this class with simple instructions and may offer more guidance throughout the hour depending on the students’ level of experience. Students should bring their own meditation cushion. This class is offered to the community at no charge—come share your spirit!
beach yoga
There is nothing like practicing yoga over looking the beauty and power of the Pacific Ocean. As you watch the waves of that ocean rolling in again and again, it is the perfect setting to connect to the waves of your own breath and body flowing. This is a gentler vinyasa suitable for anyone who wants greater well-being and wholeness.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a meditative class where restful/stretching postures are held for longer periods in a warm room. This creates a profound release of the body’s connective tissue—like deep calming bodywork. It’s a wonderful practice for those seeking peace and inner quiet.
Class Schedule
Balance = Flow
As we find flow in our practice, flow and a sense of balance also emerges in our lives. Things just start to move in a positive direction! We uncover more kindness and care for others, we find ourselves doing things that support our health and well being, and there’s some kind of magic force that draws us towards our best life. We’ve seen students who come regularly not just improve their physical health, but meet loving life partners, find the courage to leave toxic situations/relationships, and even make their dreams come true. The more you flow, the more you glow!
